Hi Kathy and Everyone that has helped with this website....have you made a formal announcement that your sight is up and operational? I have several people that would welcome knowing...hugs to everyone and hope all are well. We love you kathy and are so glad that you didnt just disappear after the change at IRSA. Mary Lewis
It would be great if you announce that the site is now operational at Rettnet. I have been asked not to do so by IRSF, but it is fine if you do. Thanks for your support!
Hi Kathy, Just sent a short announcement to be posted, will wait and see if it shows up.....I love the new website...you guys have done a fantastic job. Mary
Just to let you know that my email is down. I am using dial up while at the beach and it is horiffic. I have to go to a local hotel and wait in line to get online, so I hope you will be patient. I hope we get the problem straightened out so I can have access at the beach house.
I have heard you say that Stacy swims. Does she have any problems from putting her head under the water? My granddaughter loves to be in the pool, but we have a hard time trying to keep her face out of the water while holding her. She is not happy in a swim ring because she wants her arms in the water. I would love to find a way that she could enjoy the water without being held or drinking the water. She is too heavy for me to hold for very long. I have lots of questions about swimming, but basically, I would like to know anything that you can share about Stacy's swimming experiences.
Stacie has been "swimming" since she was about six. She always, always wants her face in the water, so she is a real fish. In shallow water, she will duck her face under. We started her in deep water with a swim sweater, basically a tank top with a built in inner tube. She could kick her feet and move all around but it kept her from having her head in the water, which is what she wanted to do. So we tried taking the swim sweater off in the deep end and eureka! she kept treading water. When she was younger she could go for 45 minutes all over the pool. We could even push her off the diving board and she would go way down and come up, laugh like crazy, spit out water and keep paddling. It was amazing. Nowadays, she swims around for awhile then goes to the edge to hold on and catch her breath. If I am in the pool with her, she swims all over to cath me. It makes us both very happy!
